The font of this double page spread is a colour palette of: red, white and black. I think that these colours were used to emphasize the rebellious rock look that Taylor Momsen has. The photograph of Taylor dominates the page meaning that there is only room for two columns of information, suggesting that the image will sell the magazine more than the text.
Her pose looks confident and sexy which will probably attract a primary audience of male viewers, the secondary audience will be girls that aspire to look like Taylor and listen to her music. I think that the caption 'Wild Child' has been used because Taylor Momsen is portrayed as not caring about the negative views she receives from the media as she continues to smokes on stage and wear revealing outfits despite the remarks.
When doing my own double page spread I will take notice of what my model wears, in this image Taylor Momsen has a leather jacket on and heavy eye makeup which adds to the genre of the magazine and emphasizes that she is a rock singer.
