The three images featured on this page all fall into different categories, displaying that this magazine will attract a wider variety of buyers. The first image is of My chemical romances' lead singer Gerad Way who is head banging on stage, this will appeal to a more youthful, teenage audience who are interested in rock music. However the second image of Bruno Mars playing a piano contrasts with the first photograph as it is a completely different genre of music, but also means that the magazine caters for a more mainstream audience. The final image is of the American president Barack Obama, exhibiting that the magazine will appeal to a more mature audience.
The information on this page is split into four different sections, the header in a large, eye catching red font which makes it easy to find what category the reader is most interested in. Unlike most magazine's not all of the pages featured are advertised, I think that this is a good technique to get potential buyers to flick through the magazine to see if any of the pages appeal to them. Further more, at the bottom of this contents page it is displayed that Eminem is on the front cover yet he is not shown in the contents page, meaning that people who picked up the magazine because of its front cover will try and find that certain article; possibly finding other articles which grab their interest resulting in them buying the magazine.
