NME front cover

The institution 'NME' is in red and has a large font so it is eye catching. The sub images tell the readers what other type of artists are featured, essentially the genre of music the magazine focus' on.The primary audience are music listeners, typically of a younger generation as the band members are young. I think that the socio-economic group is E/D- students/minimum wage as the price of this magazine is only £2.20.
The main image is of three males, which will grab potential buyers attention as they all have diverse poses: curious, creepy, energetic. The magazine's front cover is only males and has a stereotypical teenage rock look. The magazines colour palette is: yellow, red, blue and white. It looks as if the magazine uses yellow to advertise the most important information, considering that teenagers will be interested in festivals.
