What I have learnt from double page features

The majority of double page spreads had the same layout when it came to interviews; the text is columned on the right and a main picture dominates the left page, which is related to the text. I decided to feature an interview in my own magazine 'RECKLESS' and use the same layout.

On double page spreads the text is never the same style and is always varied for visual effect or to emphasise    important aspects of the interview, I decided to use bold and italics in my own magazine. The questions were put in black and bold to emphasise what the artist was being asked and her answers in italics to avoid confusion for the readers. Another technique that is used in double page spreads is how quotes from the article are put on the left page, I decided to use this technique as I think that this could attract viewers who are flicking through 'RECKLESS'.
